Definition: what is a cookie?
A cookie is a small computer file, a tracer, which is deposited and read when an online service is consulted, regardless of the type of terminal used (computer, smartphone, digital reader, video game console connected to the Internet, etc.).
Cookies have multiple uses and allow their issuer to identify the terminal and record certain information relating to the use of the online service (your client identifier, choice of language). Some of these uses are strictly necessary for the use of the online service and therefore are not subject to consent. How do we use cookies?
When you visit our websites www.lovys.com, www.go.lovys.com, your user area in the browser (hereinafter the “Sites”) as well as on the mobile version of your user space, tracers may be installed on your terminal by Lovys or by our partners.
There are 4 types of tracers with the following purposes:

- Tracers installed on the mobile version of the user area
Lovys does not set cookies on its mobile application.
On the other hand, Lovys and its partners use two types of tracers on your user account in the mobile version:
- Tracers strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the application;
- Audience measurement tracers to enable us to analyse your behaviour on the application in order to improve its operation.
How to manage the cookies?
Managing cookies with Lovys
Lovys gives you full control over the cookies deposited on your terminal via the information banner that is displayed when you first connect to our Sites and the application.
You have the choice to accept or decline all cookies or to choose to have only some of them deposited, except for the strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of our services, which will be automatically deposited.
